Why families come back

Parents talk to other parents.
We listen.

Two kids, two different camps, same building, same drop-off. The sibling math actually works here.

Maya R.Returning · 2 kids · 4 summers

She came home tired in the best way — and asked, on Sunday, when she could go back.

James T.First-time parent · 2025

The 12:1 ratio is real. You can feel it at pickup — coaches actually know your kid.

Questions parents actually ask

Frequently asked.

Don't see yours? Reply to any email or call
707-763-3007.
How small are the groups, really? +
8:1 for Explorer Camp (3.5–6) and 12:1 for older themed camps. Plus our Junior Coaches add additional energy and supervision — three to four are on-site every camp day.
Can my kids be in different camps the same week? +
Yes. Multiple themes run at the same time, so siblings can choose different experiences with the same drop-off and pickup.
Where do you go for outdoor time? +
The nearby park, Credo High School PE fields, and our outdoor and redwood spaces at SOMO Village. Roughly a quarter of camp time is outside.
Do you offer aftercare? +
Yes — the 1–3 PM extended session is exactly that. Add it to any week. Most working-parent families bundle morning + extended for a full 8:15 AM – 3:00 PM day.
What if my kid is new to Adventure Rec? +
First-timers fit right in. The Welcome Circle and rotation system are designed for kids who don't know each other on Day 1. Most leave Friday with new friends.
How do I register? +
Online at portal.iclasspro.com/adventurerec/booking, or call 707-763-3007. Returning families: your account is already set up — registration takes about two minutes.
What should they bring? +
Refillable water bottle, snack, lunch, hat, sunscreen, and closed-toe shoes — they'll be running.

Adventure Recreation sits inside SOMO Village in Rohnert Park — a community built for being outside. Kids have a full indoor ninja and gymnastics gym to themselves, plus a neighborhood park, Credo High's PE fields, and quiet redwood paths just steps from the door. That's why every camp day flows naturally between indoor adventure and real outdoor play — without ever loading a van or leaving the neighborhood.
